We’re delighted to announce that Aura Funerals has taken home two major honours at the UK Customer Experience Awards 2025 (UKCXA), winning Gold in the ‘Customers at the Heart of Everything’ category — the event’s signature and most competitive award — and Silver in ‘Best Customer Service’.

These accolades recognise our exceptional commitment to empathy, transparency and customer-led innovation in the funeral and end-of-life sector.

Aura was founded by Paul Jameson after receiving a diagnosis of motor neurone disease. His personal experience planning his own funeral revealed the confusion, cost and lack of compassion often faced by families navigating end-of-life arrangements.

Determined to change this, Paul, his son David, and family friend Ben established Aura to provide a service defined by kindness and clarity.
