Customer Referral Terms and conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the Referral Scheme (“Scheme”) offered by Company Aura Life Ltd (Aura) (“we,” “us,” or “our”), which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FRN: 976308). By participating in the Scheme, both the Referrer (the existing customer) and the Referred (the new customer) agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Eligibility 

2.1 Referrer:

• Must be an existing customer who holds an active funeral plan with Aura. 

2.2 Referred:

• Must be a new customer who has not previously held a funeral plan with Aura.
• Must be referred using the approved referral process (such as a referral link or code).
• Must be aged 18 or over.

3. Rewards

3.1 Referrer Reward:

A £50 gift card will be awarded to the Referrer upon successful completion of the qualifying criteria (see Section 4).

3.2 Referred Reward:

The Referred individual will receive a £50 gift voucher after purchasing a funeral plan from Aura  (see Section 4).

3.3 Voucher Options:

• The gift card may be selected from available options such as Amazon, Sainsburys, John Lewis or One4All.
• The gift card holds no cash value and is subject to retailer restrictions.

4. Conditions for Reward Issuance

• The Referred must complete the purchase of a funeral plan directly through Company Aura using the referral link or code.
• The plan must be paid in full or via monthly installments up to 5 years.
• Both the Referrer and Referred rewards will be issued only after the Referred’s funeral plan exits the 30-day cooling-off period and is active.
• Rewards will be issued within 10 business days thereafter.
• A maximum of one £50 gift card will be awarded per successful Referred customer transaction. 2 Together Plans count as one customer transaction. A successful transaction is a completed sale of a funeral plan from Aura. 
• No reward will be issued if the plan is cancelled during the cooling-off period (being 30 days from date of purchase).

5. Limitations and Restrictions

• The offer cannot be combined with other promotional offers or discounts.
• Retrospective referrals are not eligible.
• The reward is not transferable or exchangeable and no cash alternative will be offered.
• We may cancel rewards if we suspect abuse or fraudulent activity.
• If the Referrers plan is cancelled prior to the issuance of the gift card, this negates the receipt of the gift voucher. 

6. Gift Card Fulfilment

• Eligible Referrers will be contacted by email or post to select their preferred gift card.
• Selection must be made within 6 months of qualification.
• The gift card will be delivered within 28 days of selection.
• Unclaimed rewards beyond 6 months will be forfeited.
• Aura are not responsible for lost, stolen, or misused gift cards.

7. Scheme Modifications and Termination

Aura reserves the right to withdraw or amend this Scheme or these Terms at any time without prior notice.

Changes will not affect rewards already in progress, provided all eligibility criteria are met.

8. Data Protection

• Personal data will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• Data may be shared with third parties solely for reward fulfilment purposes.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
