Aura’s story started when our founder looked for a funeral plan to protect his family. When he couldn’t find what he wanted, he created Aura to offer compassionate services to others like him. It’s this background that guides us to this day. We treat every person that turns to as we’d want our own family to be treated, delivering a personal touch with heartfelt support and quality care.
With Aura, you can cancel your plan at any time without administration fees or extra charges. If you pay your Golden Leaves plan in a lump sum or in 24+ month instalments, there is a fee of £325 to cancel after your 30-day cooling-off period. If you pay in 12-month instalments, then cancellation is free within the first 12 months, but the same cancellation fee applies after this.
Aura does not add any extra charges for spreading the cost of your plan over 12-24 months. Golden Leaves also waives fees on 12-month plans but adds charges for plans of 24 months or longer.

If you wish to spread the cost of your plan, Aura charges no extra fees on 12–24 month instalments. Golden Leaves also do not add charges for 12-month instalment plans, but they do add fees for instalments paid over 24 months or longer.
Aura’s plans don’t lock you in. You can cancel with us at any time and get your funds returned to you without any fees or extra charges. With Golden Leaves, if you pay in 12-month instalments, then you can cancel for free within the first 12 months. However, if you pay for your plan in a lump sum or over 24+ months, then you can cancel for free within the first 30 days. After that, there is a £325 fee to cancel.
