We’ll place your money into a secure, independently-managed trust, so that it’s ready to be used for when the time comes.
After you’ve passed away, we’ll transport you to one of our care centres in a private vehicle. We aim to keep everyone as close to home as we can, but this isn’t always possible.
Our team of funeral experts known as the Aura Angels will support those you leave behind through paperwork, answering any questions with genuine care and compassion.
Within 21 days of the cremation, we’ll arrange to hand-deliver your ashes to your chosen person at no additional cost, or we’ll scatter them on their behalf.

When you buy one of our plans, we place your money into a secure trust. That trust is independently managed, and it means your money is kept to the side, safe and sound, ready to be used when the time comes.
We can access it in order to activate your plan when it’s needed to pay for everything, or in order to give you a refund if you decide to cancel.
Our plans are also protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). This reassures you that, in the highly unlikely scenario where Aura is not able to action your plan, you may be eligible for compensation.
We are the only prepaid direct cremation plan provider to have two cremation plan options rated five stars by independent experts, Fairer Finance and The Times Money Mentor. Our plans have this rating because they are both fully guaranteed, have no additional charges for collecting the deceased or removing medical devices, offer free cancellation and hand-deliver the ashes back to the family at no additional cost. We offer flexible payment plans so you can secure your plan today and pay over a longer term. You can either pay in full or spread the cost of your plan over 12 or 24 months. Our plans are not a credit product, so you’ll never pay interest. The cost of your plan will stay the same no matter how you pay.
Purchasing a funeral plan guarantees your funeral costs when you die, which means no matter how high funeral costs might rise in the future, your family have nothing to pay when the time comes. Purchasing a funeral plan brings great peace of mind to both you and your family knowing that, when a difficult time comes, there is one less thing to worry about.
When you pay for an Aura funeral plan, the money for your funeral is put into a safe and secure trust. This is managed by independent trustees separate from Aura. The trustees look after this money on your behalf until it is needed to pay for your funeral.
That’s very unlikely but if we couldn’t deliver the services we’d look to put an alternative provider in place or offer a full refund. The money that you pay to us is protected in a trust that’s managed independently from both Aura and the Funeral Services Provider.
