Funerals are expensive, and there's no point in trying to deny it. We have learned firsthand that the financial strain which a funeral can place on entire families in times of grief is one of the main worries that people have. Plans can change in life at the drop of a hat, and we want your plan to help you adapt to these moments, not hinder you. That's why they've been designed with full flexibility in mind: You can cancel your plan at no cost and receive a full refund. You can even make amendments to it after you've paid, and you will only have to pay the difference if you expand things, for instance by moving from an unattended ceremony to a partially or fully attended one; nevertheless, there will be no additional charge from our side for the admin. If you have questions about this, or you would like to amend or cancel an existing plan, we are ready to talk to you over the phone about that.
Much like the flexibility of our plans, we've also designed them to operate smoothly when the time comes. In the course of purchasing a plan, you will appoint someone close to you (a relative or friend) to act as your responsible person. We will provide this person with a detailed guide that explains everything they need to do so that they are prepared and comfortable when it comes time. They will let us know that we need to activate your plan, at which point we will use the money you've already set aside to pay for everything, and we will coordinate with your responsible person, supporting them in the organisation of your service. If you are not going to have any guests at your cremation, we will primarily support them with the legal paperwork, but if you would like attendees, we will also help with the organisation of the funeral itself.
